Traffic regulations motorcycle 

Trailer 

  • It is allowed to attach a trailer to a motor, if it is not heavier than 150 kg, not more than 1 m and not wider than 2.50 m.

Helmet 

  • Wearing a helmet is mandatory.

Passengers 

  • The carrying of a passenger is allowed
  • Children from 5 years and older may be carried in a child seat suitable for them.
  • Children under 5 years may be carried in a sidecar that equipped with safety belts.

Lighting 

  • Dipped beam and daytime running lights (including LED) is mandatory during the day

Maximum speed 

  • Maximum speed of motor with trailer
    inside urban areas 50 km / h
    outside urban areas 70 km / h
    highway 80 km / h

Traffic regulations moped 

The Danish stor knallert (large moped, also called 45-moped) may be in terms of speed of 45 km / h allowed compared to the Dutch moped, but this is the same as traffic for the motors apply. These mopeds may not on the car (fast) roads.
 
The Danish lille knallert (light moped) may be in terms of maximum speed of 30 km / h allowed compared to the Dutch light moped. For the little moped same traffic for a bicycle apply.
 

Trailer 

  • It’s allowed to attach a trailer to light-moped or moped

Helmet 

  • Wearing a helmet is mandatory.

Passengers 

  • It is prohibited to the light-moped and moped to carry a passenger.

Lighting 

  • Moped must also carry during the day dipped beam.
